Meet the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL, an incredibly fast and superior smartphone from Samsung Electronics. Everything in this phone is just spectacular: a large internal space, high-resolution display, high-quality front and back cameras, fast wireless charging,  and much more. All high-end specifications are bundled into this beautiful gadget. So let’s go straight to what you get in the box when your order arrives.

Sliding open the box revealed a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL. The battery is embedded so I just powered it on right away. Other accessories in the box include a SIM card ejector, several manuals in different languages, a charging adapter, an ordinary USB cable, and a pair of white headphones. Also included in the box is a USB to micro USB converter, that you can use to transfer data from your old device to the new Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL. During the initial setup process, it showed me a wizard I could use to transfer data from my old device. Migrating to the new device is easy and smooth, so you don't have to worry about how you are going to get your data. Let’s jump into the design.

Samsung went onboard with the outer design of the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL - it's a perfect item to have in your hand. The curved back and sides and slightly rounded edges on the display give the phone a contoured appearance and feel. It's an incredible piece of architecture that is very comfortable to hold in one hand thanks to its 5.1-inch size.

On the right-hand side of the phone is the power button. On the left-hand side are the volume buttons. On the upper side of the device are the sim slot and a noise cancellation microphone. On the lower side is the headphone jack. The placement at the bottom is different from other Samsung phones that usually have the headphone jack at the top. Also at the bottom is the charging port and speaker.

On the front is the 5.1 inch AMOLED screen. At the top of the display is the front camera. At the bottom of the screen, you find the home button which also functions as a fingerprint scanner - yes, you can unlock your phone real quick just with your fingerprint. Also at the bottom of the display are the recent apps button on the left side and the back button on the right side.

Going to the back of the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL you will find the camera, designed in a way that it doesn't protrude outside making the backside quite uniform. The back cover is also an impressive architecture of the device - it is made of AMOLED glass making the device shiny all around. On the left and right sides of the phone is a metal rim snaking between the back cover and front cover completing this spectacular design.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL 12 MP back camera really got my attention. Words may not describe enough the quality of pictures and videos it takes whether in the dark or bright environments. One thing someone might be wondering is why the Galaxy S6 had 16 MP camera while the S7 which should be an improvement of the S6 has 12MP. Here's what makes the Samsung Galaxy S7 g930VL camera exceptionally good. Both the back camera and the 5 MP front camera are capable of dual camera and dual video call. Dual camera means you can use both the front and back camera at the same time. By dual video call, you can have a video call with your front camera and still share what you are looking at with the back camera.

Even though The Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL back camera has slightly fewer pixels than the S6 camera, it takes better shots and scenes appear much brighter. It has quick autofocus, so it can grab clear shots of moving objects. It's one phone you can take on a road trip and capture shots of moving birds! The incredibly fast F 1.7 aperture helps blur the background and isolate the subject bringing detailed quality even in low light capture. Other features you can play around with in the manual mode of the camera include selective focus panorama, slow motion, live broadcast, and hyper lapse. It can also record 4k videos at 30 frames per second with digital image stabilization at low resolutions. Honestly, it’s like having a separate digital camera just for taking photos!

The Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL features a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with 1440x2560 pixels of resolution. I can guarantee it's incredible to look at; the blacks are so deep, and the colors pop in a vibrant way that you feel like part of the action. One unique feature I liked is the Always on Display; when I turned it on, I noticed the pixels lighting up. The Always on Display feature shows the clock, camera, or a selected picture on the lock screen without lighting up the whole screen and hence not eating into your battery life. I enjoyed watching high-resolution content on the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL and even playing heavy graphic games is an absolute pleasure– the pixels show your characters so clearly.

Battery life is long, and it really impressed me. During my usage, I was able to stay out more than 12 hours without having to recharge, traveling, taking photos and videos, sharing and chatting on social media, listening to music, and even playing games. Samsung packed a non-removable 3000mAh battery in the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL, and they must have included other applications to manage the battery life. The phone can last a day without worrying about finding a power outlet. It also supports fast wireless charging.

32 GB of internal memory is what you get on the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL. Think of all the pictures, videos and songs you can store on this device so as to fill it. It's an incredible storage capacity, and you can carry all your files and even some of the latest episodes to watch on a road trip. And by the way, the incredible screen resolution will encourage you to even watch more from your Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL. A micro SD card slot is available on the phone. In the unlikely event you run out of space on the 32 GB internal storage, you can upgrade your storage up to 256 GB with a memory card.

Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL performance is blazing fast. It boots quickly. Unlocking is even faster using the fingerprint scanner on the home button - forget about patterns and security pins.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL comes with the smooth Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and on top of it is the TouchWiz customization from Samsung. It also comes with a couple of other Samsung apps like messaging, mail and browser apps. You are free to install more apps from Google Play store because the device can handle it.

The phone operates on a 2.1 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM. These resources do the job of maintaining smooth animations when switching between apps. Memory management is excellent, and the phone has multitasking features like split screen and app windows. Switching between recent apps is also smooth using the recent apps button at the bottom left of the display. Playing high definition games is also enjoyable, and processing HDR photos is way faster.

Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL supports 4G LTE and CDMA that operates on Verizon network hence accommodating the Straight Talk plan. It has Wi-Fi and also can create a hotspot for sharing your phone’s internet. For maps and navigation purposes, it has a GPS capability. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 for easy file transfer between nearby devices. NFC – Near Field Communication is also implemented into the phone for secure payment with supported devices.
One other highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S7 G930VL phone is its water resistivity. It is IP68 certified: water resistant over 1.5 meters and 30 minutes and dust-proof.
