LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C came as an upgraded version of the underwhelming LG Optimus Dynamic. The phone features a 3.8-inch screen and comes running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C works with Net 10 Wireless plans which are prepaid no-contract monthly plans. In this review, we look at the features and specs that make the LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C what it is.
The phone is available for ordering from the Net 10 Wireless website. The purchase box includes the gadget, battery, wall adapter charger, 4GB microSD memory card, activation card, services guide and quick reference manual.
LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C is available in black color with slightly rounded corners. The exterior layout is quite typical of a budget smartphone. The phone is also lightweight, weighing only 4.43 ounces. With only 3.8 inches in size, the phone is perfect for one handed operation.
The front panel has the 3.8-inch display. You will notice the phone has four capacitive navigation keys which is a unique thing given most phones only have three. The arrangement is such that the back button is on the left, then the home key, then the menu key, and lastly the recent apps navigation key on the far right. The upper part of the display has the earpiece and proximity sensor.
Going on to the frame of the device. We have the volume keys on the left edge and the power/lock button on the right edge. The upper edge has the headphone jack while the lower edge has the microUSB port as well the microphone.
The back panel is a matte plastic design. The camera lens lies on the top left of the back cover. The back cover is not fixed so it can be removed to gain access to the battery compartment and the microSD slot.
The lens on the LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C falls on the back cover only. It has a 3MP rear camera which does a nice job in good lighting. There’s no LED flash, so the phone will only work in a well-lit environment. A front camera is also missing, but that can be understood given the price tag it comes with.
The LG Dynamic II L39C has a 3.8-inch multi-touch screen. Multi-touch here means the screen can respond to multiple touch points hence allowing you to zoom in and out of photos or videos by pinching with your two fingers. The resolution of the screen is 320 x 480 pixel which is considerably bright while indoors.
The battery on the LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C is a 1700mAh Lithium-Ion battery. Since the phone doesn’t have power consuming resources and only a 3.8-inch display, the phone will give you a full work day of usage. The battery has a good life performance as it gives up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 11 days of standby. If you prefer having a spare battery in case of eventualities, this phone supports that as the battery can easily be removed.
The storage capacity on the LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C is4GB of internal memory. A 4GB memory card is also included in the box when you purchase. The microSD card slot supports up to 32GB so you can always get a larger capacity external memory card to accommodate more stuff.
The LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C comes running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is easily customizable. It’s powered by a 1.0GHz single-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. These resources are capable of keeping your productivity apps like email running well. Due to limited RAM, the phone can run casual games well. However, intense games and multitasking will be quite limited.
The phone is 3G enabled. Hence, you will enjoy fast Internet speeds while within the Net 10 Wireless data plan. The download speed goes up to 21Mbps which is very impressive for a phone in this price range. It also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. A Micro USB v2.0 port is on the phone to let you move files easily between the phone and your computer via a USB cable.
It has proximity, GPS, and Tilt/Shake sensors. The proximity sensor ensures that your device screen backlight goes off immediately you place it on your ear to save battery life, especially when making long duration phone calls. The GPS sensor enables navigation when using Google maps and any other location aware apps. And if you love games that involve controlling characters by tilting your phone, the LG Optimus DYNAMIC II L39C is your type of phone.
